Our limited water should be for HUMANS

The Calgary water main is in shambles and keeps breaking. It needs a massive amount of repairs and replacements just to maintain the water needs of the current population. Adding a power-hungry, water-polluting AI slop house onto the already overburdened water and power systems is the worst possible thing you can do. Is the plan to tell citizens to ration water during the increasingly hot summer months so the datacentre doesn't get too warm? Are you going to have rolling blackouts for residential buildings to prioritize the datacentre? Because the companies who would run such a datacentre would absolutely demand those things to happen and citizens WILL DIE from such demands. AI companies do not care about the human impact of their slop factories. AI as a technology is not worth the human impact that this would have. Don't waste our tax dollars on something so stupid and harmful. Invest in city infrastructure repairs and improvements. Invest in citizens, not AI
