Great Risk for Little Benefit

Data centres are environmentally risky, resource-intensive sites that provide very few job opportunities while passively generating capital for the already wealthy. Alberta would see little to no benefit from this, certainly not enough to outweigh what it would be putting in, especially considering how precarious the province's water situation is already. I believe this project is a bad idea that has a good chance of making life worse for Albertans and very little chance of making it better.
